In his current role as Distinguished Service Professor of Marketing at the University of St. Thomas, Porter teaches a variety of marketing and communication courses, and conducts research on various communication, retailing, and customer service topics. He holds an MBA in marketing and a doctorate in leadership from the University of St. Thomas.
